"This moment-this boy-could tear me apart and upend everything. But in the heat of the cottage, wind rattling the glass in the windows, rain pelting the roof, with our skin flecked with salt water, I don't care."

"Loving someone is dangerous. It gives you something to lose."
The Wicked Deep, by Shea Ernshaw, was a wonderful book and I'm glad I stumbled upon it. I really enjoyed reading it. I first grabbed it because I love witchy books, but at it's core it's also a really beautiful and painful love story. It's filled with all kind of delightful plot twist that constantly had me needing to read "Just one more chapter." The characters were wide spread and all extremely likable. I especially love Penny and Bo. The author did a really great job of showing the readers the emotions and turmoil both felt.
